An Original work of art painted on Two Rivers Handmade 100% cotton Watercolour Paper
This is the first time I've tried this wonderfully textured paper made by the Two Rivers paper mill in Somerset. This paper is conservation quality, made with 100% cotton and linen rag has a unique random surface texture unlike the mechanically even weave of most other branded papers. It gives the painting a wonderful texture that is hard to capture in the photographs (please see the video). This particular painting is on their 300lb paper, which is a very thick, heavyweight paper. The deckle edge of the paper is left untrimmed.
